72 sportifs tunisiens participent aux 10èmes Jeux Panafricains, qui se tiennent du 3 au 17 septembre 2011 à Maputo, au Mozambique. La voile tunisienne participe avec 5 athlètes:
Zine El Khairat (Laser Standard),  Youssef Akrout et Anis Lemjid (Laser Radial), Dhia Chaabane et Ines Gmati (Optimist).

Championnat d'afrique OPTIMIST : 1 au 9 octobre 2011.

With regards to the IODA Africans, which had been postponed due to the political turmoil in Tunisia at the beginning of the year, we are pleased to announce that now that a threat of civil unrest has disappeared, the organisers have chosen October 1 to 9 as the new dates to host the championship. The revised Notice of Race will be posted asap.
